This week on Lehman internet podcasting, fans can download and/or listen to the Lehman College athletic department's latest posting, which features an interview with men’s cross country standout, James Mulligan.
Sports Information Assistant Jason Greene sat down with Mulligan on Tuesday afternoon as the Lightning look forward to hosting their annual cross country meet, the Lehman Lightning Invitational, this Sunday at 10:00am at Van Cortlandt Park. In the interesting segment, the Bronx HS of Science product touches on a variety of topics, including his start in the sport of cross country as well as how he prepares for meets. He also gives her prediction for the season and states that he feels that the Lightning could take home a CUNYAC title in 2008.
The Lehman College men’s cross country team last competed last Friday in the Stevens Invitational at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ, where Mulligan finished first overall in the men’s 4k event with a time of 13:21.82. He is the squad’s No. 1 distance runner and is expected to put together a tremendous season.
