Baseball Assistant Coaches

First Base Coach John Krochak
A lifelong Bronx resident, Krochak graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in 1977. He then attended Baruch College, graduating in 1984 with a degree in Human Resource Management. While there, he played for the Baruch baseball team from 1979 to 1982, winning the team MVP in 1981.

John then became an assistant coach at Baruch in 1983 before taking over the program in 1985. He served as the Head Coach at Baruch until 1989. Prior to coach Krochak brought respectability back to the Baruch program, eventually winning the Coach of the Year award in 1988.

Lending his love for baseball and coaching experience, coach Krochak intends to help coach Quirk create a winning program that will produce student-athletes that the Lehman College community can be proud of.

Coach Krochak resides in the Bronx with his lovely wife, Lucy.
